Why, oh WHY do we get these actor/actress wannabees and horrible twists every year? I've taken a look at the cast and information on them that I guess they expect us not to find (since they list them as bartender/waitress/nanny) and they are all either aspiring actress/actor's or freaking models!

 

The twists are even worse...enemies? How is that different from the ex's? Or the secret partners? There is a father and daughter couple that are supposedly estranged...yet, I think that will all be for show. If you look on the guys myspace there are pictures of him with his daughter that look to be taken less than a year or 2 ago.

 

Just once I wish they would give us a diverse cast, that do NOT know each other already and are actually from different places around the country. OH, and forget about the freaking twists...they usually don't pan out anyway, but mostly for true fans they are very disappointing because they take away the dynamics of throwing strangers in a house together. It JUST ISN'T THE SAME IF THEY AREN'T REALLY STRANGERS!

 

That said. I still can't wait. lol

I'm currently counting down the minutes until Big Brother 8 starts. I'm ready with the live feeds, showtime, and my Tivo is all set. Time to start cleaning my house, feed the bird, and say goodbye to my friends and family for 3 months. LOL I will officially be in my Big Brother Bubble soon!!

We are going for another arabic wedding. Second time to Chicago but this will be my first time on a plane. So it will also be my first time on a plane with my almost 3 year old. I have no idea what to expect. Last time we drove the 18 hours...

OK...so I'm posting this because I just got back from the grocery store and I happened to have the unfortunate experience of having someone behind me that uses to much fabric softener. Now I have to spend the rest of MY day with a pounding head ache and that overall sick feeling that I always get when coming in contact with that horrible stuff. I felt like turning around and saying "Please step back ten feet because you are making me sick" but of course, that would be rude. So short of trying to not breathe..what could I do?

 

FABRIC SOFTENER IS EVIL. At first I thought maybe I was just allergic to it, but after doing some research on what is in the stuff, it's no wonder it makes me sick. Over exposure from when I was younger and I used to do all my mom's laundry everyday (and used a lot of the stuff) is probably why I now have a chemical sensitivity to it... Fabric softeners are some one of the most TOXIC products commonly used in homes.

 

Why is it not required to come with a warning label? It's full of dangerous chemicals...not to mention the fragrances (with are not good for you) that they use to cover up the horrible smell of said chemicals!

 

I found a list of chemicals that are found in fabric softeners:  

 

 Alpha-Terpineol--Causes CNS (central nervous system) disorders... "highly irritating to mucous membranes" ..."Aspiration into the lungs can produce pneumonitis or even fatal edema." Can also cause "excitement, ataxia (loss of muscular coordination), hypothermia, CNS and respiratory depression, and headache." "Prevent repeated or prolonged skin contact."

 

Benzyl Acetate--Carconigenic (linked to pancreatic cancer). "From vapors: irritating to eyes and respiratory passages, exciting cough." "In mice: hyperanemia of the lungs." "Can be absorbed through the skin causing systemic effects." "Do not flush to sewer."

 

Benzyl Alcohol--Causes CNS disorders ..."irritating to the upper respiratory tract" ..."headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drop in blood pressure, CNS depression, and death in severe cases due to respiratory failure."

 

Camphor--Causes CNS disorders. On EPA's Hazardous Waste list. Symptoms: "local irritant and CNS stimulant" ..."readily absorbed through body tissues" ..."irritation of eyes, nose, and throat" ..."dizziness, confusion, nausea, twitching muscles and convulsions". "Avoid inhalation of vapors."

 

Chloroform--Neurotoxic. Anesthetic. Carcinogenic. on EPA's Hazardous Waste list. "Avoid contact with eyes, skin, clothing. Do not breathe vapors ...Inhalation of vapors may cause headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, irritation of respiratory tract and loss of consciousness." "Inhalation can be fatal." "Chronic effects of overexposure may include kidney and/or liver damage." "Medical conditions generally aggravated by exposure: kidney disorders, liver disorders, heart disorders, skin disorders." "Conditions to avoid: Heat..." Listed on California's Proposition 65.

 

Ethyl Acetate--Narcotic. On EPA's Hazardous Waste list. "...Irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract" ..."may cause headache and narcosis (stupor)" ..."may cause anemia with leukocytosis and damage to liver and kidneys". "Wash thoroughly after handling."

 

Limonene--Carcinogenic. "Prevent its contact with skin or eyes because it is an irritant and sensitizer." "Always wash thoroughly after using this material and before eating, drinking ...applying cosmetics. Do not inhale limonene vapor."

 

Linalool--Narcotic. Causes CNS disorders. ..."respiratory disturbances" ..."Attracts bees." "In animal tests: ataxic gait, reduced spontaneous motor activity and depression ...depressed heart activity ...development of respiratory disturbances leading to death."

 

Pentane--"Danger - Harmful if inhaled ...Avoid breathing vapor." "Inhalation of vapors may cause headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, irritation of respiratory tract and loss of consciousness. Repeated inhalation of vapors may cause CNS depression. Contact can cause eye irritation. Prolonged exposure may cause dermatitis (skin rash)."

 

 

This makes me wonder...if this crap CAME with a warning, would people still use it? Here is one site on the dangers of fabric softener but it isn't the only one.

 

So at the end of today's Guiding Light they showed the previews for tommorow. Unfortunately, after an entire week free of Crash...looks like tommorow they will be back. They make me sick! I was enjoying a break from the Crass-ie TrashY Cassie show.

 

I am tired of the endless propping of this horrible couple that never should have been. They have tried everything to get viewers behind them...for me IT'S NOT WORKING and it NEVER WILL! Josh is in prison getting his guts beat out and Cassie is all alone and has lost yet another father for RJ, but guess what? I don't feel sorry for them. It's not working writers. I hope he rots in jail just so I don't have to watch your disgusting couple!

 

And how stupid is Cassie? She apparently walks up on Josh, doubled over in pain moaning, and has to ask "OMG, JOSH ARE YOU HURT?" No, stupid! He's just doubled over in pain because you walked in the room...I know I would be.
